Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest – Winners

On behalf of the St. Therese of Lisieux K of C Council 11957 and Discipleship Formation staff, we would like to thank all those who participated in the 2025 Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest.

The contest aims to promote Christmas and the season of Advent in their proper context, centering on examples of the Holy Family and the Nativity of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This year, we received 18 entries, and after careful and thoughtful judging based on the criteria of slogan (30 points), artistic merit (30 points), and overall impact (40 points), we are proud to announce the winners of each age group (Posters can be seen below):

  • Kindergarten: Marcel Toma
  • Grades 1–2: Parker Savo
  • Grades 3–4: Callen VanTiem
  • Grades 5–6: Molly Cipa
  • Grades 7–8: Elena Monaghan

Each winner will receive a $25 check from the St. Therese of Lisieux K of C Council 11957 and may decide whether to have their poster entered in the K of C Detroit Archdiocesan- and State-level Poster Contests.

All posters will be on display and available for pickup at the January 11 K of C Pancake Breakfast. (Checks will also be available for pickup at this time.)

Thank you to all who participated in and supported this great event.
