Join us at St. Therese of Lisieux as we welcome Deacon Rick Rhein from St. Francis/St. Maximilian for a special Guided Meditation on “Gathering at the Lord’s Supper”, inspired by Luke 22:7–23.
Catholic guided meditation is a prayerful way to deepen our relationship with God through guided reflection, imagination, and emotion. Rooted in Scripture and faith, it draws our minds and hearts toward Christ—unlike secular meditation that seeks to empty the mind, this form fills it with God’s presence and the mysteries of salvation.
This session will use the Ignatian method of meditation, developed by St. Ignatius of Loyola, inviting us to enter the Gospel scene with all our senses and encounter Christ personally. Together, we’ll reflect on the power of His gift in the Eucharist—recognizing the faces of those gathered with us and the unity we share through Communion with one another and with Christ.
A delicious ham, cheesy potatoes and baked bean dinner will be served from 5:00 to 6:30pm in the social hall.
