What is a Holy Moment?

A holy moment can be defined as “a single instant in which we open ourselves to God.” We can make ourselves available to Him by setting aside personal preferences and self-interests. For just one moment, we can do what we prayerfully believe God is calling us to do.

We all make several decisions every day; some may be easy, but others can be harder to make and have major consequences. Whenever we are faced with a difficult choice, it is best to consult God first, and then ask our future selves. There was a popular bracelet many people wore a few years ago that said WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?). This is a very good guide.

If we make holy moments a practiced routine, we will be happier, and those around us will be happier, too.
