Musings and Messages: November 16, 2025

We have arrived at the penultimate Sunday of the Church Year. Jesus reminds us that change is coming. He tells us to be aware of the signs of the times and to persevere in the Gospel. He tells us that we will be persecuted for our beliefs. He notes that even those who are closest to us may betray us. However, we should remain steadfast in the truth.

The challenge is not to lose hope but to always keep our eyes fixed on the Lord and to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of Christ.

As we approach the end of the Church Year, you may wish to conduct an end-of-year review. How have you grown spiritually this year? Are there any areas where you still need to improve? Do you have goals for the coming year? How will you accomplish them? How do you see your life as helping you to achieve heaven’s glory?
