Intro Lauryn and looking for volunteers

Hello! My name is Lauryn Coules-Cash, and I am the new youth minister here at St. Therese. I have worked in youth ministry and evangelization since 2008, and I actually attended the youth group at this parish during my high school years. I worked as a missionary with NET (National Evangelization Team) ministries for three years, have done retreat ministry across the nation since 2013, and have since worked in parish ministry. I took a brief break from parish ministry when I had my son, Kolbe (who you will see with me at Mass, I’m sure). I am thrilled to be joining the parish staff and look forward to meeting you in the coming weeks!

With all that said, if you are still reading this, you may be the perfect person to volunteer in the youth ministry adult team. Two things will help you in discerning if this might be the right fit for you:

  1. Are you a Catholic who has a personal relationship with Christ?
  2. Do you have a pulse?

If yes, then, my friend, you have a purpose! We are in need of young adults, adults who are young-ish, and adults who are seasoned in life. If you fall into any of these qualifying categories, we will be meeting on Monday, March 23, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM in the Resource Room. I can’t wait to see you there!

If you are a teen or have a teen in your family, please come and say “hi.” You can catch me in the Gathering Space before or after weekend Masses by the Welcome Desk for a gift from the youth ministry team. And if all else fails, pray for me, then send me an email at laurync@stol.church.

God bless you!
