When families struggle to clothe their children with warm coats in the winter, Knights of Columbus councils help meet this basic need with the Coats for Kids program. Last year our parishioners were very generous, and many coats were given to the Capuchin Service Center and Holy Trinity Church in Detroit.
The 2023 St. Therese of Lisieux K of C Coats for Kids campaign will begin on Oct. 1st and run through Oct. 31st. There will be boxes in the Parish Gathering Space to place your donation of clean, gently used coats and jackets as well as brand-new ones.
We are looking for all sizes from toddler to high schoolers. Please go through your closets or browse the clearance racks at the stores. Your donated coats will be distributed to those who need them in early November and the kids will be very thankful to receive them.
