As you may know, most school districts request that students bring in school supplies at the beginning of each school year for their use throughout the year. The districts provide extensive lists so that the students have the tools needed throughout the entire year. This can be quite a burden for families who are struggling to make ends meet!
Your contribution will certainly help any child anxious about starting school—new school, different grade, making friends, fitting in—while knowing their family is struggling. At least they will be comfortable having all the right supplies in their backpacks as they walk into their classrooms this fall.
