We have all been challenged to pass on and proclaim the message of our Lord. In these troubled times, it is the job of all of us to bring about an attitude of Peace, Hope, Love and Joy which Christ does for us. It’s easy to complain but peace and love begins with all of us. Evangelizing may be new for some of you, but it is the responsibility of All of us to pass on the Good News. Here are a few beginning steps you can take…
- Pray for people using their name
- Go out and invite someone to come to church with you (you might wish to top it off with breakfast afterwards)
- Be bold and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you
- Meet and greet others where they are in life by listening to them
- Share your story
- Teach something to someone about our Catholic Faith
- Ask for guidance often – it’s okay to stumble and not know an answer. Let the other party know that you will research the question and get back to them with the answer
- The more you take part in Evangelizing, the easier it will become… you can’t become a concert pianist overnight!!
