We have all been blessed with the ability to think and use our imagination. The next two evangelizing words are Love for one another and the use of our Imagination. So, let us all be creative and think of ways we can pass on small gifts of love to family, friends, neighbors, people who aren’t very nice to you, and people who are different from you! Gifts of love don’t have to be big. Often, it’s the little things that make a difference. Have a family discussion on small things you can do to show love and kindness—and thereby evangelize. Here are a few ideas:
- Holding the door open for someone
- Offering your seat when there are none left
- Taking the lead to pick up something that someone dropped
- After saying a prayer before your meal at a restaurant, ask the wait staff if they would like you to pray for something for them
- Asking someone who is sitting alone at the lunch table to join you
Jesus wants us to love all, just as he does.
