The last two words of Evangelize are Zoom and Engage. Matthew 28:19 says, “Go forth and preach the good news to all nations.” We proclaim the Good News by what we say, what we do, and how we behave. Evangelization always shows love for one another and takes many forms. Children need to learn how to be good communicators, and this takes a lot of practice! Here are just a few simple practice scenarios:
- Writing thank-you notes
- Making introductions
- Learning to order independently at a restaurant
- Greeting guests at the door
- Creating a short prayer from the heart
Evangelization can happen in everything we do, and it is shown in the way we live and love. The practice of evangelization makes everyone feel better, including our Lord!
