Evangelizing: A Great Way to Spread Faith, Hope and Charity

A few of us from our parish, who also represent St. Paul Street Evangelization, recently had the pleasure of evangelizing at two locations: SVdP in Utica and St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen in Detroit.

The sun was shining brightly on a beautiful fall day as we came to SVdP and evangelized outdoors. Many folks stopped by our table just to give us a thumbs-up and thank us for being there. Our table was filled with religious items such as rosaries, medals, information cards about our faith, and an invitation to pray with us. People of all ages stopped by to engage in conversation.

A couple of weeks later, we evangelized with a similar setup at St. Leo’s Soup Kitchen. About 150-200 guests came by daily for a warm lunch. Many of them made their way to our table, accepted items, and, most importantly, prayed with us. We always feel very welcome wherever we evangelize.

We are very blessed to have a church so supportive of this ministry. If you have an interest in this wonderful mission or would like more information, please feel free to email Patti at pattiaconnors@hotmail.com

Evangelizing is sure to warm your heart and the hearts of many others!
