Eucharistic Procession

  • June 2
  • Immediately following the 11:45 Mass

As we draw ever closer to the National Eucharistic Congress, it is essential for us to take a closer look at our relationship with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. As Catholics, we are given the gift of being able to spend time with Jesus himself in Adoration. Since the beginning of Catholic history, miracles and personal encounters have been reported by people who spent time with Jesus in Adoration. On the Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) solemnity, we celebrate and honor what Christ has given us: salvation through him in the Eucharist. We invite you to spend some extra time with Jesus immediately following the 11:45 AM Mass, we will have a procession outside with Adoration and the opportunity to share our faith with our neighbors. We will have signs out asking if they have questions, need prayers, or want someone to talk to. If you are interested in volunteering to pray, answer questions, or talk with someone who needs to, please contact Rebecca Poupard at rebeccap@stol.church by May 28.

Sometimes, we forget the importance of sharing our faith outside the Church building. As Catholics, we are called to share the Good News and help those in need. This can be challenging and uncomfortable, but when we are together as a St. Therese family, we can confidently share our faith, knowing that God will be with us. Please consider joining us, helping us, or simply helping yourself by sitting with Jesus for some extra time. Who knows what graces he might bestow upon you that day?
